Partitio also is a character who shares hope to everyone, in a different manner, and is nice to people. Her goal is simple and straightforward : She wants to follow the path of her mother to bring happiness to the most people. Throné is intelligent, serious and courageous she's the badass girl of the group ! Born in a violent gang of thieves and assassins, she wants to escape her situation and find real freedom.Īgnea is naive, ultra-nice to everyone and a real hope dispenser. But OT2's characters have their own very particuliar personnalities. I'm not as much into OT1's characters as you guys are, I think. I know everyone in here is a huge Tressa or Cyrus fan. In Octopath 1, you only had the incredible 'Battle At Journey's end' for every last boss, here you have For The Dawn, and a second music phase customized to each character.

The Journey for Revenge Ends is obviously Osvald's, but the 7 others are just as awesome, it's just my personal favorite I mentioned. Also, that's only my two favorite tracks but you'll find yours : Many have the same quality to them.Īlso, here is a little spoiler telling you about the passion they put in the music : Every character's final chapter's boss has a second phase in which they put a special track that is dedicated to that character and that boss' second phase. I'm not even joking, if you think I'm exaggerating you really need to finish this game to see for yourself.

There are tracks, like 'For The Dawn' or 'The Journey for Revenge Ends', which are even better than OT1's best tracks. Now we'll have to invent new words that mean 'better than a masterpiece' or 'insaner, but even more insane than just insaner' for OT2's equivalents. Some tracks like Daughter of the Dark God or Battle At Journey's End were absolutely insane.
